The Allen-Edmonds Rawhide Ave has a good overall fit, but the leather is a bit stiff and will take awhile to become comfortable. This is a unpleasant surprise as all the previous ariats were ready to hit the road without a break in period

This is my second pair. The first ones I have had for years and thought they were finally showing a bit more wear and wanted some I could wear just for good. I have worn these Allen-Edmonds Rawhide Ave everywhere and they always workout for me! They are attractive and comfortable. I must say though the old ones still look pretty decent! Just wanted something fresher looking!

Gorgeous Allen-Edmonds Rawhide Ave! Allen-Edmonds Rawhide Ave was shipped direct from Daily Men Accessories Reviews. When getting these unboxed both were unusually stiff/hard. Ariat put some kind of schilaque on it, local Cobbler inspected the Boot and stated the coating made the Leather very hard, and would break in for her in a very difficult way. He also said Leather conditioner would sit on the coating and not soften the Leather until she wore the Allen-Edmonds Rawhide Ave for a while, she was not willing to go thru that painful process, so they were exchanged for another Allen-Edmonds Rawhide Ave, Sheplers was wonderful and understanding. We looked at the identical Allen-Edmonds Rawhide Ave in Black and the Leather is soft and supple, so not sure why Ariat could not build this Brown one soft as well? She would not even try on the Daily Men Accessories Reviews.
